Our first BUCS match of the season had an intense first start, with the impressive Leicester team racking up quite a few goals. There was a breakthrough moment as Florence Schneck was able to secure the 2s first goal of the season. The excitement got to some of our players such as the dick of the day Izzy Piper who ran up the ball up the wrong goal side. Impressive defensive performances and Kimberly’s fantastic efforts as goalie helped us keep the opposing side's score down! In the second half we started to really find our feet after a tough first half. Serena Gupta scoring two goals, the second being in the last two seconds of the game which earned Serena the well deserved man of the match from Leicester!
