As a popular school sport, Warwick Women's Lacrosse prides itself on strong turnout, BUCS performance and commitment, with a consistently solid intake of experienced players every year.
This year our 1s team even managed to become champions of the Midlands 2A division, getting themselves promoted to 1A for the upcoming season.

WOMEN'S DEVELOPMENT
Women's Lacrosse is by no means just for those who have played before!
The development of new players is the most important part of women's playing at Warwick and we have a large development squad who spend their first year in the club, learning the game, practising alongside the 1s and 2s, and playing in development matches and tournaments against other universities. Our BUCS teams also feature players who were initially new to the sport meaning that with the right attitude there's lots of margin for competitive, high level play. In a similar vein, development also works as a great way to get more girls involved in sport with the introduction of an extra 'Rock Up & Play' session this year furthering not only this aim but also our wider commitment to growing the game!
Whether you just want to try your hand at a new sport or are keen to play competitively, development is a fantastic place to start.
