The second match of the season for the 1s team saw us take on Oxford Brookes 1s at home. From the beginning of the match we realised this was going to be a hard game, with several goals let in within the first quarter. However, after a break the team joined together to demonstrate some amazing defence and Sofia even managed to get a goal in!
Despite the disappointment (and bruises) the team can hold their heads high as the progress seen throughout the match was staggering.
Our man of the match go to Caity Nutting for her amazing defence and spotting the opposing teams tactics, allowing us to react and Maddie for her amazing draws, impressive 1 on 1s and being an overall superstar. Unfortunately our dick of the day goes to Tami for yet again getting injured :(
